This is a 16 week IRONMAN Plan that is geared towards intermediate and advanced athletes.

We will work through three different phases of training to ensure you are prepared to be Fast and Strong!
Phase #1: Vo2 Max where we focus on getting your speed and ceiling UP. This phase will also make the rest of the training easier! To place well in your age group, you have to the FASTER-STRONGEST athlete.
Phase #2: VOLUME. This is a huge push on building alot of volume and time at Zone 2 as well as working muscle strength! We start to turn your body into a fat burning MACHINE! You have to be efficient at burning alot of fat and carbs for fuel!
Phase #3: RACE SPECIFIC. This is when we dial in more race pace work, running off the bike, and race fueling. This phase is ALL ABOUT extending the speed and strength into your race pace!
Each phase has a longer SIMULATION DAY where you will go through the pre race routine with rest, pre race tune ups, and a long swim, bike, and run to prepare your body and mind for the race demands.
