Plan Description
The Leadville Heavy Half is a true mountain race! Peaking out at 13,185 feet on Mosquito Pass this race will truly leave you breathless. This event is a mixture of historic mining roads and some technical trail, sometimes covered in snow! The Heavy Half is a great introductory race into the rest of the Leadville Race Series, progressing to the Leadville Trail Marathon, The Silver Rush 50 and finally the Iconic Leadville Trail 100.
The Boundless Coaches have decades of experience and are the Official Coaching Partner of the Leadville Race Series. They are the perfect combination of Education, Experience and Passion.
This plan is designed with the background and influence of getting hundreds of athlete's across the finish line in all the Leadville Event's. Designed to get you to the start line healthy and happy and ready to tackle the 15.4 miles (HEAVY half) and 3,428 feet of elevation gain.
