Plan Description

**This is not a plan for people under 80 MPW**

This plan is very saturated and is for athletes looking at sub 2:35 and faster in the marathon. If you are someone who respond well to mileage and can manage the demands of big workouts like 12-15x 1K and are looking for Broken Tempos and have time to put in workouts that demand 70-90 minutes on weekdays - this is the plan.

This is the final 8 week build with a hefty dose of critical velocity, saturated long runs, and specific endurance work. Long Runs are between 14 and 24 miles with most have some quality thrown in. This plan is structured around doubling almost every day some weeks so 12 miles/ day needs to be the norm for you and not an anomaly.

This plan has heavy saturation weeks balanced with rejuvenation periods designed to help you absorb the training with back to back days of doubles and minimal stimulus. If you have questions please e-mail coaches@lifelongendurance.com
