This training plan is crafted specifically for beginner runners who meet the following criteria:
- You’ve been walking regularly and doing brief periods of running.
- You’re preparing to finish your first 5km event.
- You’re motivated to improve your 5km time.
- You can comfortably walk more than 2 miles.
- You can run-walk for at least 1 mile.
- You have a clear goal to finish your first 5km.
