Plan Description
This program was written by avid backcountry skier and Canadian National Team Skimo racer Coach Kylee Toth. The program is designed for races or challenges over 2000 meters (6500ft) in ascent. In conventional Skimo racing this plan would be great for training for Grande Course Races. For recreational touring this plan is good for traverses, volcano skiing and large multi day objectives. The program is designed to be started after our Pre-Season Skimo plan which we suggest doing from September to December. This is a 14 week program. It is best started when you have snow on the ground.
