Your 4 Week Freestyle Foundation Swim Plan from a Level 3 WOWSA Swimming Coach

Welcome to your Freestyle Foundations Training Plan!


The purpose of this plan is to help you improve your freestyle technique and increase your efficiency with every session.

This plan is great for beginners or more experienced swimmers wanting to reinforce a proper freestyle technique. During the next four weeks you will focus on four fundamental freestyle skills:

- Body position
- Kicking
- Breathing
- Arm Pull

Your plan includes:

- Full swim plans with structured heart rate sessions you can load on your Garmin etc.
- Tips to help you improve your swimming technique
- Strength sessions to improve your swim strength plus mobility workouts.
- Drill and technique videos

You will need fins, Finis Alignment kickboard, paddles and pull buoy.

If you don't have this equipment you can still do this plan and the drills video show how.

You can use this plan over and over again or find your favourite workout and incorporate it in to your training plan to keep your technique on-point.

My name is Karen, I live in Southern Spain where I coach & run Triathlon training camps all year round (ChiliTri). So if you would like face to face coaching please get in touch.
