Welcome to Your 8 Week Swim Technique & Strength Plan
If you would like to swim straighter, with less energy and feel strong after your swim this plan is for you.
The 8 week plan includes:
- Structured swimming sessions for Garmin etc
- Regular testing of your Critical Swim Speed (CSS) so you know you are improving
- Detailed swimming drill descriptions, drill videos and why you do them
- Dryland Strength sessions to make sure your swim muscles are ready for your event
- Detailed session plans
- Swimming Tips
- Each week with include a technique, strength and endurance session
- Pool and Open Water Session Options
Stretching, Yoga and Pilates based ideas and videos to help avoid injuries
- Open water and T1 Transition tips
- Some Nutrition and Hydration ideas

You will master the keys to front crawl/Freestyle swimming for your next Triathlon swim. I will de-mystify swimming technique so you will swim easier in the water. You will feel more confident and strong in the water.
Weeks 1 to 4 are pool based sessions and weeks 5 to 8 have open water session options.
This plan is ideal for race distances up to IRONMAN® 70.3. For distances over 1900m see the advanced plan. You must be able to swim 400m front crawl to be able to start this plan.
My name is Karen and I live in Southern Spain near the IRONMAN® Marbella 70.3 event where I coach and run Triathlon training camps all year round (ChiliTri). So, if you would like face to face coaching and come and check out the Marbella course please get in touch. Karen is an IRONMAN® Certified Coach and British Triathlon Federation Level 3 Coach. I also work as a Coach Educator & Assessor for the British Triathlon Federation, helping to develop the next generation of triathlon coaches in the UK.
Karen is also a Qualified Personal Trainer specialising in endurance athletes so all of the S & C sessions are tried and tested.
