Plan Description

The ATT 12-week 2000m Training Plan is for beginner to advanced athletes to develop the fitness and confidence on the erg to pursue their fastest 2000 meter test.

This program is a 12 week progression into peak 2k intensity, beginning with the "Base Fitness" phase, followed the "Base to Pace" phase, and finishing with the "Race Prep/Execution" phase, to provide athletes a clear blueprint to develop their fitness, have exposure at race rates, then execute their race with confidence.

Each week is broken down into 6 sessions, 4 on the erg at varying intensities, and 2 cross training. Rowing-specific workouts will be split between 2 steady state sessions, 1 base fitness session, and 1 preparation session.

Every session in this program is purposeful, with the intent of leading athletes to an understanding of their peak fitness, then translating that fitness to top speed! Our focus is on providing a clean and easy to follow training plan that will best position you for a successful race!
