Plan Description
This is the '6 week off-season base' plan, from Cotswold Cycle Coaching.
As the title suggests, this is a 6 week plan, that focusses on working on your base fitness and will work a range of zones, from sprinting, to zone 2.
For this plan, you will need an indoor trainer with the ability to display your power (w).
You will be following a structured plan which will increase your general cycling fitness. This plan is ideal as an introduction to following a training plan, as a mid/post winter reintroduction routine or just for someone who wants to work on their base.
The first week will be an introduction week, quite relaxed, followed by an FTP test on the Saturday/Sunday. This is essential so we have an accurate measurement of your ability, so that the subsequent sessions are targeting the correct zones. If you already have a recent FTP result (within the last 3-4 weeks) then drop me a message and I am happy to swap it over for another session.
