10-week Base Training Plan. This program is designed to build a solid fitness foundation, helping you prepare for your peak performance.
Throughout the plan, you’ll focus on:
• Zone 2 endurance
• Neuromuscular fitness
• Low-cadence strength work
• Tempo efforts
These key elements ensure you’re ready for more intensive phases later in your season. We recommend starting this plan 4-5 months before your first race, making it perfect for early base-season preparation. Once completed, you’ll be primed to progress into the build phase and beyond.
