Plan Description
The MTB plan covers 8 weeks like your normal BCC phases
This plan aims to develop the key attributes needed to be in peak shape for your upcoming MTB race or MTB event
The key abilities we look to develop are similar to BCC plans but will have lots put in here
1. Threshold Power
2. VO2max
3. Anaerobic and neuromuscular power
4. Repeatability of hard efforts
5. MTB-specific skills
Sessions that are classified as 'MTB' are best done off-road on your mountain bike. Any other session can be performed on road or trail, on any bike of choice, as long as you can keep your power and intensity level well-controlled.
