My name is Pete Wilby and I am an endurance sports coach. I work with Laura Wilby, my wife, and a wider team of sports profesionals: water safety crew, rehab specialists, strength and conditioning coaches and BTF activators and coaches.

I started PeteWilbyTriathlOn in January 2014 after some years volunteering at local triathlon clubs. It started because I love the sport of triathlon and the challenge of endurance. Having grown up a club swimmer, cross country runner and very keen mountainbiker, I link a huge amount to sport participation, including getting into triathlon. Great coaches over the years have helped me. The sports themselves have shown me really, what life is all about, and how to be a good person. With this beleif I have followed courses and education practices and gradually learnt my coaching style on the job.

My area of coaching expertise stems from sports and exercise science (BSc University Exeter). I moved into coaching and acheived athleteic leaders, NPLQ, BTF level One, Two and Three, alongside additional learning each year including Training Peaks level Two amongst others.

At PeteWilbyTriathlOn we help endurance athletes from beginner, right through to World Championship level. I believe that triathlon and open water swimming are great sports that should be accessible to everyone. Using online coaching through Training Peaks Laura and I have helped hundreds of athletes - locally and abroad - to excel. This is my full time job and I love it.
