Chris is the coach of Pro and Agegroup Ironman-Champions, as well as Agegroup Kona-Winners and European-Champions. As an athlete he did qualify himself for the Ironman World Championship twice. He also raced German Bundesliga and can look back to a successful career in martial arts at world class level. With that in mind, you can profit of his deep knowledge about mental training. His professional background as an economist is a solid base for the perfect planning and execution of your racing goals.
As an athlete he made the experience that he was able to show his best performances when he got full support from someone else believing in him and whom he could fully trust. Getting a training schedule and your data analyzed by a coach is important, but that is not enough at all. You and your dreams deserve to get the full attention as well. You will never be able to show the best you can, if you and your coach don’t believe. For Chris it is essential to be there for his athletes and if it is in need, to be there every day.
This makes his athletes feel safe and supported. Chris likes to look ahead to the achievements and progresses the athlete makes, to be able to give as much positive feedback as possible. Therby they build a lot more self confidence. It makes them believe in themselves. Boundaries just exist in your head and are being made by ourselves.
