Frequently Asked Questions | FAQs

: First, download the TrainingPeaks Virtual app to your desktop or mobile device. You need to do this even if you have downloaded indieVelo in the past.
If you only have an indieVelo account: you can use those credentials to log in, but will need to switch over to a TrainingPeaks account soon. To avoid any interruption in your access to the app, we recommend you set up your TrainingPeaks login as soon as possible.
If you only have a TrainingPeaks account: you can now log in to TrainingPeaks Virtual using your existing athlete credentials.
If you have both a TrainingPeaks account and an indieVelo account: log in to TrainingPeaks Virtual using your TrainingPeaks athlete credentials. In onboarding you’ll be asked for your indieVelo credentials, which will merge your old account with your new one.
If you’re completely new here: Welcome! Create a TrainingPeaks account to get started- you’ll get access to TrainingPeaks Virtual along with a free trial of our Premium features.

: Coach accounts are not currently supported on indieVelo. You need to use your TrainingPeaks athlete account to continue. All coaching functionality in TrainingPeaks Virtual (DS mode, event creation etc.) is available through your athlete credentials.

: TrainingPeaks Virtual is free with any TrainingPeaks account. After March 2025, it becomes part of a TrainingPeaks Premium (paid) subscription.
