Plan Description

HALF DIST Kenting, located in the picturesque coastal town of Kenting, Taiwan! This event guarantees an unforgettable experience for athletes and spectators alike.

Dive into the crystal-clear waters of South Bay for the swim segment, where athletes will complete a 1.2-mile (1.9 km) course with two loops and a short beach run. The water temperature is expected to be around 24-26ยฐC (75-79ยฐF), providing a comfortable and enjoyable swim.

On the bike segment, athletes can take in the breathtaking Southern Taiwan coastline and local sceneries of Pingtung. The route passes by famous attractions like Baisha, Houwan, and the National Museum of Marine Biology & Aquarium before continuing along the Checheng Coastal Scenic Highway, offering awe-inspiring views of the Guishan Bridge and Fu'an Bridge. Aid stations will be available at 26KM, 45.6KM, 58.2KM, and 74.5KM to keep athletes energized and hydrated.

The run segment will take athletes through Kenting town, completing a 13.1-mile (21.1 km) course with three loops. Though the course is mostly flat, the tropical weather conditions with temperatures around 28-30ยฐC (82-86ยฐF) and high humidity levels make it a challenging experience.
