Coach Bio

Hi, my name is Colin from Tried and Tested Cycle Coaching. I've been cycling for 15+ years and my primary focus has been on the road, both in terms of road racing and time trials with a high degree of success. I've learnt a lot in those years from reading and studying the science and from listening to others, that journey never stops. I still enjoy racing at a high level in the amateur ranks as a master and I'm now looking to pass on that knowledge and help others achieve their goals.

Our philosophy is simple, we use science based research and modelling of top level cyclists in addition to 15 years of practical experience to find the common denominators that help the dedicated cyclist prepare and recover more efficiently. We basically take out the guesswork so you can become fast, faster.
The plans on offer provide a prescriptive framework depending on what your key goals are. Obviously the ideal scenario is to have a coach who works with you full time to create a personalized plan, and to make the necessary adjustments as you progress. However coaching is far more than just dishing out a plan, there needs to be a holistic approach which takes into account all aspects of an individuals life, such as stress, lack of confidence, diet and nutrition just to name a few.
