Plan Description

In this plan, British Triathlon High Performing Coach and Level 3 personal trainer Simon Olney will help take you through a two day a week bodyweight strength plan. Sessions are scheduled on Tuesday and Thursday to ensure there is no lingering fatigue for the weekend, but can be moved around as you see fit.

These exercises can be performed from the comfort of your own home, using very minimal equipment, with only a resistance band required for some of the shoulder exercises. Sessions are delivered in the form of word documents attached to the notes in the calendar. Unfortunately, TrainingPeaks does not allow the attachment of files to workouts for training plans currently.

Additional weight can be included should you wish, which could be anything you find around the house to specific weights you either purchase or have access to at a fitness facility.

This is a generic plan designed to improve functional strength and reduce injury in triathletes. It is not a plan specific to you and your individual needs. If you feel any pain you should stop exercising immediately, and seek help from a professional.
