Plan Description
Maximise your success and hit your high expectations with our incredibly detailed 20 week standard distance triathlon plan.
We have created you this plan so you're always in the know with your training. Every session has been placed into the plan for a reason, every rest day planned out with your optimal recovery in mind, every thing put together to create your peak performance come event day.
During a typical week there are 3 bike rides, 3 runs, 2 swims and 1 strength session with 1 rest day. (Strength sessions are in the plan but not set out. This is due to the large variations in ability, strength and needs when it comes to strength training. It is best to consult your local gym instructor face to face). The swim sessions are planned to be around an hour long to fit in with typical swimming pool timetables but can be reduced if required.
What you will need:
- The usual Triathlon kit: A bike, some running shoes, pool access, swimming kit (pull buoy, kickboard)
- Gym access or home equipment
- A willingness to improve yourself every day.
