Plan Description
Is this plan for me?
- For athlete preparing for their first 1st Olympic/Standard distance race
- Ranges from 4 to 9 hours of training a week
- Includes race-specific sessions such as bricks and open water swimming sets
- Typical week = 2 swim, 3 bike, 2 run sessions, and 1-2 rest days
- Uses a 3 week progression:1 week recovery cycle
Assumes that the athlete can (on an individual session basis) = swim 1200m (with rests), ride for 40 mins, and run for 30 mins.
