The Full Distance Triathlon Frankfurt is renowned for its unique blend of natural beauty, urban energy, and course variety. From the arena-like swim at Langer Waldsee, to a dynamic 180 km bike course with views of Frankfurt’s skyline, to the flat, crowd-lined marathon along the river Main, this race demands a strategic and well-structured training plan.

Our 36-Week Beginner Full Distance Triathlon Plan is designed to prepare you—both physically and mentally—for the specific demands of Frankfurt’s course. Built with a progressive approach and guided by proven endurance principles, this plan helps you peak at the right time, with structure, confidence, and a clear sense of purpose.

🏊‍♂️ Targeted Swim Prep
Build endurance and technique with a 12-week foundation phase that includes video-supported swim drills—ideal for mastering open-water skills and navigating the Australian exit at Langer Waldsee.

🚴 Course-Ready Bike Training
The two-loop Frankfurt bike course mixes fast flats with challenging hills. You’ll train with a structured blend of aerobic base rides, tempo sessions, and simulated race-effort bricks to handle all terrain with confidence.

🏃 Run Smart, Finish Strong
With Frankfurt’s fast, flat marathon, pacing and nutrition are key. This plan prepares you with progressive long runs, brick sessions, and pacing strategies to stay strong all the way to the Römer finish line.
