This plan is designed for those who have a general level of fitness or a background in being active but are starting their running journey and are looking for some routine and direction in building their aerobic base to help with their future running endeavors. Focusing on a holistic approach in which runners are encouraged to tune in and listen to their bodies through feel which helps build an awareness of the mind body connection and prevent fatigue and burnout through understanding, listening and responding accordingly to the body.
Upon completing this program, runners should be well prepared to introduce more intensity to their training and potentially look to target races across a variety of distances or just simply continue building their cardiovascular fitness for general health and well-being. This program can be accompanied by strength training program for an overall health and well being regime.
