Plan Description
Start an 8-week boost to your swim fitness and improve your swim technique to build to 1000m of continuous swimming.
This is a swim only program designed to be paired with any other sport training regime, or to be a stand-alone swim program for a race distance of 750m to 1000m swim (plan is in meters but distances can be completed in yards as well). .
This program includes Videos of Swimming Drills that are designed to help you improve your stroke technique and feel of the water. *The videos should be reviewed at the beginning of each week or prior to swimming and as often as you need.
Equipment:
To get the most out of this plan, please have the following equipment:
• pull buoy
• swim fins
Optional: Kick board
Ability:
For this plan, I recommend that you have the ability to swim at least 100m without stopping and 500m cumulative over 30 minutes.

The plan is designed by Sheryl Ross who is an NCCP Level 3 Certified Swim Coach and Triathlon Coach in Canada. Sheryl was a national level swimmer in her youth, as well as a high-level age group triathlete as an adult with her fastest Full Distance Triathlon (3.8km) swim time being 57 minutes, which put her 2nd age group female for that portion of the race. Sheryl is passionate about helping others reach their goals and helping guide them in all steps of the process.
