Efficientendurance

This is a plan for anyone who can swim a length (25m/y) wishing to improve their swimming and achieve a continuous 400m swim. Perfect for those who are wanting to complete their very first triathlon but are nervous about the swimming section or want to achieve something they have never done before!

This plan includes basic technique points to focus on and a gradual increase in distance as you go through. I am available at anytime to answer any questions.

This plan has 3 sessions per week between 800 and 1800 meters/yards. All sessions should be done in the pool.

Sessions are completely planned out including warm ups, technqiue sets, main sets and cool downs. The plan will require a pull buoy and kick board. Whilst they are great pieces of equipment to own, some pools will let you borrow them if you ask nicely!

The plan is predominantly front crawl but starts from a basic level.

Swimming is a sport that is very technical and as such every set within every session has technique points to focus on. The way the plan is structured gives you time to improve all areas of your front crawl stroke.
