Plan Description

This plan is designed to improve your capacity around time trial type efforts. The primary goal of this one is a 10 mile or 16 km time trial. It can be applied to longer time trial events, but I would recommend increasing the duration of some of the efforts and maybe reducing the number of efforts so that you can do longer time trial specific intervals.

The first three weeks of the plan focus initially on sustained power work around sweetspot and tempo level with an emphasis on getting better at maintaining power output in an hour dynamic position.

The second block becomes more event specific with higher intensity efforts around threshold, and also specific maximal aerobic capacity work.

The final week of the plan tapers with the aim of a Time Trial event being on the Sunday
