About This Ultra Gravel Plan
This is 3 months of training for adult athletes with limited time who want to complete very long or 'Ultra' gravel events that will take 6-12+ hours to complete.
The weekly volume is 6-14 hours with options to adjust it up or down based on your goals and availability.
This plan balances sustainable volume with adequate preparation for very big (eg. 100 mile and beyond) Gravel races. This training plan has been used for Unbound, Mid-South, Big Sugar, the Rift, Gravel Loco, and other longer gravel races, challenges, FKTs and events!
What Does It Include?
- Guidance to adjust the load and volume to match your goals and event duration
- Reminders for preparing & testing equipment, navigation and night riding
- Structured Workout Downloads are included for *most* bike workouts ( for Garmin / Zwift Etc )
- Flexible workouts to complete indoors or outdoors
- Nutrition and other tactical tips and guidance included as notes through the plan
- Core routine and 1-2 weekly yoga sessions are provided and encouraged throughout the plan
- Workout Description with HR, Power and/or RPE - Flexible to your equipment and preferences
