Plan Description
This plan is the last one of the series and aims to prepare you to peak right for your Gran Fondo event. No matter if you aim toward a Road Marathon, a Gran Fondo, UCI World Series, after you finished the build phase this plan will help you to arrive in peak shape on the start line. As we prepared your body with the base and build phase for the demands of the season, the training focus now shifts toward race specific sessions and HIT intervals.
The goal is now to improve economy and fat-burning capabilities, while concentrating the training load on key sessions to maximize adaptation. Consequently, volume and intensity will increase throughout the plan. You will notice, however, that the specific sessions are filled with useful content that gives you a new perspective on endurance training.
Packed with optimized combinations of training sessions the peak plan will transform your performance bit by bit.
As always, the plan is simple to follow and combines science with results-proven practice.
