Plan Description

Gran Fondo is Italian and means "big ride." Accomplishing big rides is exactly what this plan is made for.

The intensity and specificity increase throughout the plan. The intervals in this plan are crucial to make you a faster and stronger Gran Fondo racer. The weekly structure works in a 3:2 block ratio, meaning you train three days during the work week and two days during the weekend. Additionally, workout instructions and learnings help you understand the "why" of the session. Accordingly, the plan is easy to follow, based on research, and includes fuelling guidelines to maximize your performance. Strength training, on the other hand, will help you maintain your strength during the race season. Enjoy!
