Coach Bio

Terrence Mahon is internationally recognized as one of the greatest coaching minds in Track & Field, Cross Country and Long Distance Running. Over the span of his 20 year coaching career he has worked with athletes in events ranging from the 800 meters up to the marathon. His runners have achieved immense success across the globe by securing Olympic & World Championship Finals positions, US & European Championship medals and Major Marathon victories across the globe.

His expertise in creating training schemes that focus on both the physiological and neuromuscular demands of running make him a unique figure in the sport. His blend of sports science acumen and real world practicality give him the ability to adapt the training to the athletes’ specific needs in order to reach their greatest possible outcomes.

Terrence’s personal running background includes a 20k US National Championship victory, podium position at US National XC, 8x All American Honors and multiple conference championships while attending Villanova University. He posts personal bests of 13:48 for 5,000 meters, 28:31 for 10,000 meters, 1:03:37 for the half marathon and 2:13:02 for the marathon.

His coaching resume spans across the US and internationally. He has worked personally with USATF National Teams, British Athletics and Adidas International. He has also mentored and consulted both coaches and clubs around the world.
