I am an Ironman athlete with qualification status to 70.3 and Iron distance world championships. I want to get newcomers excited about the sport and seasoned athletes engaged in bettering themselves. I strive to get people to move better, faster and smarter.
I started my triathlon journey in 2017 when a friend of mine asked me to train with him in preparation for a triathlon. We were both CrossFit enthusiasts and he became injured and needed to make a change in his fitness journey. I tagged along and fell in love with the sport and the path it took me on. I still did CrossFit for a few months as my strength training to supplement my triathlon training. I did my first race 3 months later and absolutely crushed it. The bug bit me hard and I started learning from my then coach about what it takes to get athletes to perform at their best, mentally and physically. I am also a level 1 Precision nutrition coach and this, I have found, is beneficial to newcomers to the sport as this is the 4th discipline in triathlon that people mostly neglect.
